 Quiznos® Sub #409
Time was, Crimedog and La Fée used to spend a lot of time and money at a little establishment known as Subway. But recently, with La Fée in prison for seven counts of foot rape, I've discovered Quiznos. And baby, I ain't goin' back!
Inappropriate enthusiasm aside, Quizno's sandwiches truly rock my tastebuds. I especially like the turkey guacamole on wheat (when feeling silly, I get the bacon too). I've eaten at several Quiznos, and they're all mostly the same. Though, to be honest, I did see Mr. Show's Bob Odenkirk at the one on Western in Hollywood (and until then I'd never seen a human who can unhinge his jaws and eat a foot long sub in one bite), so that locality gets extra points for hipster appeal.
The Quiznos on Lankershim in North Hollywood is conveniently located between my home and the video store, but is unfortunately stuck on a busy corner with very little street parking, and in a tiny storefront that engenders bumped elbows and mistaken order-taking.
But F that shit, the food's quite good nonetheless.
