Poquito Mas
3701 Cahuenga Blvd, Studio City, CA, USA

I believe this is the original Poquito Mas, and although they're all excellent, this has to be the least excellent of the bunch. Terrible parking, an awkward two-level setup, and slow, substandard service (even granting it was lunchtime) make for a less than stellar experience. Yet the quality of the food nearly makes up for all this.

When you get there you have about five parking spots to choose from, or somehow find a legal street space on a street with primarily permit-only parking. Then you fight your way past Bob Saget (pathetic celebrity sighting not guaranteed) into a tiny edifice overflowing with steaming humanity constantly getting bumped by the door opening and closing.

If you happen to order a burrito done "mojado style" (with enchilada sauce and cheese) but ask to hold the cheese, when you finally do get your order they will have forgotten to hold the cheese. But since you've already stumbled up the tiny steps with your tray to find a shaky plastic table under a shaky plastic tent, and there's dozens of folks down in the main room, there's not point in getting the order fixed.

Bob Saget

And then you bite into the succulent, moderately-priced vegetarian burrito and all those problems melt away. And you remember that you actually did stumble past Bob Saget, not realizing who he was until someone else pointed it out. You shrug your shoulders, hoping that someone of a greater caliber would stride in and bang your side with the door.

And you think, "Poquito Mas es muy excelente, pero no gusto esta locacion. Es posible gustar la comida de Poquito Mas en otra locacion mas bueno sin problemas!"
