Dos Equis Special Lager
If Corona is the beer equivalent of Cancún, Dos Equis is Cozumél the safer, more mature, and more streamlined cerveza. It's smooth, tasty, and watery in the same way that the Gulf of Mexico is: because it has to be. Though, perhaps, Negra Modelo is a cooler choice for Mexican beer, you definitely can not go wrong with a Dos Equis. Like Michelob, it delivers a consistency of flavor and smoothness that most mainstream beers lack. As opposed to spring-break-in-a-bottle, it's an all-inclusive, five-day-resort-stay-with-a swim-up-bar-and-a-day-trip-to-some-Mayan-ruins, in a bottle. Coincidentally, I tried departing from my pirate-ship-in-a-bottle hobby by crafting an all-inclusive, five-day-resort-stay-with-a swim-up-bar-and-a-day-trip-to-some-Mayan-ruins, in a bottle
but the results were disastrous. Perhaps the problem stemmed from me trying to cram those Playmobil® Mayan Indians into the bottle
fortunately, it only took about three Dos Equis for me to forget about the whole debacle.
